Intuitive painting provides a powerful outlet for self-expression, healing, and personal growth. Whether you are an experienced artist or a complete beginner, its benefits can extend far beyond the canvas, helping you connect with yourself and your emotions in profound and meaningful ways.

Intuitive painting frees the artist from the constraints of perfectionism and external expectations. By focusing on the process rather than the outcome, it allows for pure self-expression. This freedom encourages creativity to flow naturally and helps break through creative blocks.

Intuitive Painting is open to artists of all experience levels.

Sessions typically include: 

• Introduction, opening meditation to drop into the space (10 minutes)

• Introduction to color theory (15 minutes)

• Intuitive painting where we let go of structure and expectations, feel into our emotions, and create an abstract painting (60-90 minutes)

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, casual clothes that can get paint on them.

Intuitive Painting is currently offered on Friday, December 20th from 6-8pm.

Intuitive Painting is held in our Mammoth location (121 College Pkwy, Mammoth Lakes, CA) in the lobby of the South Gateway Apartments.

Intuitive Painting costs $15/workshop which covers the cost of materials.

Intuitive Painting is offered in partnership with Mono Arts Council.

No prior painting experience is required for Intuitive Painting.

Participants younger than 18 years of age are required to have parental consent. Participants younger than 14 years of age need to have a participating parent/guardian present.

Sign up early! Classes with fewer than 3 participants enrolled 12 hours in advance are subject to cancellation.

Notify us of plan changes early! Participant class cancellations with less than 12-hour notification are subject to charge.
