Elevate strength and conditioning coaches hold college degrees in health-related disciplines and certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine, National Academy of Sports Medicine, or National Strength and Conditioning Association. Coaches have experience assessing fitness levels, conducting training sessions, and working with special needs populations.

Cutting-Edge Technology
Elevate strength and conditioning coaches are Blood Flow Restriction (BFR)-certified athletic trainers. This training option may be particularly beneficial for individuals who wish to make strength gains while limiting external loads and stress (post-rehabilitation, pain and fatigue, osteopenia/osteoporosis, performance recovery cycle, etc.).

Late/Post-Rehab Transition
Elevate strength and conditioning coaches are valued members of the Mammoth Hospital sports medicine team and may consult your Mammoth Orthopedic Institute orthopedic physician and/or Mammoth Hospital physical therapist to develop a training program in-line with your plan of care.

Sport-Specific Training
Elevate strength and conditioning coaches are certified athletic trainers with the education and experience to design training programs individual to your sport or activities. Develop the strength, power, speed, agility, coordination, and balance you need to improve your performance and meet your goals.

Train with Mammoth Hospital athletic trainer and strength & conditioning specialist Zack Smitheman in a one-on-one session to develop an exercise routine, learn new exercises, practice moving well, monitor progress, receive encouragement and guidance, and access our state-of-the-art technology and equipment.

Strength & Conditioning Coaching is available M-Th 9:00AM - 3:00PM by appointment.
Appointments outside of these hours can often be accommodated with advanced request.

Strength & Conditioning Coaching appointments are offered at our Mammoth location (121 College Parkway, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546) in the gym of the South Gateway Apartments.

Strength & Conditioning Coaching Initial Consult (60 minutes): $100 (session expires within 3 months of purchase)
Strength & Conditioning Coaching Follow-Up (45 minutes): $75 (session expires within 3 months of purchase)
Strength & Conditioning Coaching 4-Pack: $250 (sessions expire within 6 months of purchase)
Some costs associated with Strength & Conditioning Coaching appointments may be covered by certain insurance plans. We do not bill your insurance directly for classes. You can pay out of pocket and ask your health insurance plan what steps you need to take to get reimbursed. Often a letter of medical necessity from your doctor is required when seeking reimbursement. You may also be able to use your employer-provided flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) to help pay for some expenses with pretax dollars.

Participants younger than 18 years of age are required to have parental consent. This course is not open to individuals younger than 14 years of age at this time. Please wear comfortable clothing and supportive shoes for movement and exercise. We recommend you bring a hand towel and water bottle.
